WE CLEAN YOUR BOAT BOTTOM

WHY Improved fuel efficiency, higher speeds and overall better performance. Hull and running gear of your boat must stay clean and free of growth. The growth, particularly in the summer months can turn even a perfect boat into a floating reef in a matter of days.

WHAT This is where we come in and safely remove the growth while maintaining the condition of bottom paint and therefore extending the life of your boat. We provide a before/after video report upon request which is free of charge so you can enjoy the view of a clean bottom!

WHO Don't be fooled into thinking any diver can perform this task. The visibility under a boat is very limited and excess movement of an inexperienced diver stirs up bottom silt easily making it impossible not only to clean the boat but very possible to also damage hull/gear.

HOW We have right set of tools, solid knowledge of a boat's structure, experience in the field and in the water to safely clean hull and running gear without the need and expense of lifting your boat out of the water.

WHEN As often as you wish! We recommend a bi-monthly service from April to October and a monthly service for the rest of the year. We strive to service your boat as close to the 2 or 4 week target date as possible.

Cleaning

We thoroughly inspect and clean the bottom of your boat, from the waterline down to the running gear. We make sure that intakes, thru hulls, transducers and bow thrusters are free of growth.

Zinc Inspection and

Replacement

Zincs help to prevent corrosion of your boat's running gear. Fast burning zincs can indicate electrolysis issues. Slow burning or not properly installed zincs cannot do their job correctly. We intall them just right!

Propeller Pulling and

Installation

We have all the necessary tools and experience to perform a complete propeller service, from pulling your props and delivering them to a reputable propeller repair facility, to replacing your props with new or reconditioned props of your choice.

Prices are for boats on a regular cleaning schedule (please inquire)

There is $90.00 minimum on all hull cleanings

Add $1.00/foot for one-time cleanings, 40-59 ft vessels;

Add $0.25 for following locations: Charlotte, Lee and Sarasota counties

Add $0.25/foot for a boat located at a private residence

Add $30.00 for a thruster and $50.00 for a hydraulic swim platform/lift. We lower it to properly clean it

Marina Kaufman and her dive team are a group of professional divers who are comfortable in much less than ideal water conditions and who have the necessary set of tools, boat maintenance experience and the right work attitude to accomplish the job!

Marina is a scuba diving instructor and certified technical cave diver. Decades of working underwater combined with boat maintenance experience makes her a perfect candidate to do a perfect job under your boat. Too many times Marina witnessed inexperienced divers damaging boats as they cannot properly move underwater therefore she makes sure her divers possess the right skill set to get your boat back in shape!
